Being a member of WMEN can benefit you and your organisation in many ways: most importantly it will give you and your organisation priority on WMEN services. These services include:

Information:

WMEN produces and disseminates information in a number of different formats, which include:

• Policy papers which set out the WMEN view and highlight issues for the third sector

• Stop Press mailings when new bidding rounds are announced

• Access to the European Funding Information line which is open from 10 – 4 weekdays and where all your questions on European funding can be answered

• Factsheets on all aspects of European funding to help you through the maze of rules and regulation

• Copies of all strategic documents

• Specialist information on the implication of funding regimes for your project

Training:

• As a WMEN member you will receive priority bookings on all WMEN events.

• You have the opportunity to get in touch with WMEN and request an event in your area

• One to one surgeries for discussion with highly qualified consultants on issues which are relevant to you and your organisation

• Members can download all information, documents and guidance relevant to making an application

Representation:

• WMEN is active on all of the committees and strategic groups that make decisions regarding European Funding. It is WMEN’s job to ensure that the issues which are prevalent in the sector are highlighted in these discussions and taken into account when any change of policy or guidance occurs
